Volunteer Opportunities

Lend a hand.

If you’re passionate about community service, care deeply for people and have the time and energy, we’d love to have your help at Crossroads Community Hospital. Volunteering opportunities are available in various departments throughout our hospital. Get in touch, and let’s talk about how we can help each other.

Volunteers help here in many ways. A sampling of areas where we use volunteers from the community:

  • Patient transport
  • Supply assistance
  • General office duties
  • Information desk
  • Gift shop
  • Shuttle driver

While most volunteer four to twelve hours per week, a minimum of four hours per month is required. Flexible schedules are available to fit most any potential volunteer’s needs.

How we help:

Auxiliary Volunteers strive to enhance the comfort of patients by providing extras such as the “Women’s Daily Planner” for mammography outpatients. Funds for these items are raised through numerous bazaars, bake sales, book fairs and from the gift shop located in the main lobby of our hospital.

Our volunteers help local and national charities at various times throughout the year including helping with presents for local children at Christmas and holding fundraisers when needed for disasters and other causes.

An application and screening process is required for all volunteers. The minimum volunteer age is 14 years for the Junior Volunteer Program.
